This one’s for the boys... but I know Cape Saltie girls are going to love it too!
Simply put, it smells like wood. Clean air. A proper drink. A room with books, a leather chair, a dog nearby and something good playing in the background. That's the vibe.
Top Notes: Amber, Pine
Middle Notes: Teak, Dry Woods
Base Notes: Spice Musk, Vetiver, Oakmoss
This is one of those scents that gives a room some weight. The woods are dry and rich, the amber brings warmth, and the vetiver and oakmoss make everything feel grounded and expensive.
It feels masculine and natural. Put together. Harmonious live with.
Another thing you’ll notice about the candles I sell: I don’t want the scent name screaming at you from across the room. No giant TEAK. No enormous logo competing with your books, your bar cart, your art, your life. You have an eye. Your home has a point of view. Candles should fit into it and let the scent do the talking.
Votivo uses its proprietary soy-blend wax with paper and cotton wicks, which I’m a fan of. Soy is all I burn at the studio. Keep the wick trimmed to about ¼ inch and let the wax melt evenly across the top, especially on the first burn.
Also: very good gift the guy who likes good things and would probably never buy himself a candle. Boyfriend. Husband. Dad. Host. Brother.
Living room, office, bedroom, den, beach house.
Oooh, especially an office or den!
Light it around five, pour something over ice and let the room settle in.
