Refund policy
Cape Saltie has a 30-day return policy on unused, unopened items from orders placed at capesaltie.com. You have 30 calendar days after receiving your item to request a return. Customers and clients are responsible for the cost of shipping unused, unopened items back to our offices.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, sealed, and in its original packaging. Cape Saltie offers sample sizes of our original essential oil blends so you can try a smaller size item before unsealing a full Blended Essential Oil.
To start a return, you can contact us at jenna@capesaltie.com .You’ll also need the capesaltie.com order number or proof of purchase. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Cape Saltie only offers refunds within the 30-day return policy for unused, unopened items that have been shipped back to our offices and received. Cape Saltie is not responsible for items lost in transit that are sent by the customer for return purposes.
In the event that a customer does not receive an item but the associated tracking number shows the item has been delivered at the address specified by the customer, Cape Saltie will not offer a refund or exchange. Customers are responsible for contacting their local postmaster and/or UPS/Fed Ex station to run a trace on their items.
Customers may cancel services within no later than 48 hours before their appointment in order to receive a full refund. Cape Saltie does not offer returns or exchanges on any services that have been completed or services that did not occur as a result of a cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment time.
*Customers may cancel unshipped orders at any time before the item is marked "shipped" for a full refund. If you wish to cancel or have any questions, please contact jenna@capesaltie.com.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 3 business days of order receipt if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like sample sizes and any opened or used product. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
We do not currently accept exchanges.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Please note, Cape Saltie reserves the right to refuse all returns.
