OK.. you know what? We're just going to call the blog Holidazed because that is how the season is feeling. Time is seriously speeding up. I barely soaked in the Ghoul Glow of our Halloween event at the studio. Carve a pumpkin? When? Eat Halloween candy? Didn't have any. There were some good eats at our event though. I'll share a snippet of the day here because I want to remember how great it was. It was SO good.. probably too good because it set the bar for what it takes to be memorable and I just know we can't match it this December with what our service and shipping schedule looks like. Bummer, I know!! I am sad. I had a lot of zany ideas for a Wellness Wonderland at the studio but I don't want to do it if it will take away from the quality in our confirmed bookings, spa parties and orders. Maintaining standards and creating protocols for those standards is really what's happening in my world. That's my update! Is it as fun as hosting an event dressed like a Gingerbread Wo-Man and running around giving people chair massages and passing out cookies to the soundtrack from Elf? No.. haha. But there will come a time for that later and now is the time to focus on doing more of what I'm doing well and systematizing it. This way my customers know if they are buying a product or booking a service with Cape Saltie this Holiday, they can expect the same great experience with a few extra bells and whistles of course. We love an energy bell, right? Check out some of what's happening this Holiday in a few of my Favorite Things below plus some small spark-joy favorites from Fall.

  • "Before #1-5, here's a little Lightning Round. A round up of little things that have been sparking joy for me lately. Ok, let's go."

    • Loving: My Cape Saltie Blueberry Buffy exfoliator - available in the 15 Minutes to Feel Good Skincare Starter Kit - coming soon!! It is probably the most underrated product in my skincare routine. This product totally transforms the texture and glow of my skin. What's key is to massage it on gently then leave it on like a mask for 5-8 minutes before popping into the shower. Where skin was sallow and pasty before, it is buttery smooth and glowing after.

    • Wanting: Speaking of beauty gurus, I want the Patrick Ta blushes in every color. Ayyy, they are so dreamy!!

    • Eating: Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Brownies. Blame it on stress, it makes me crave sugar so I have been wanting dark chocolate brownies. These are fab for a box and remind me of one of my happiest memories.. visiting Ghiradelli in San Francisco when I was young. I substitute the vegetable oil for apple sauce so cut down the calories. Do you ever do that?

    • Trying: New benchmarks of natural deodorants to add to site. A lot of you loved the Taos Aer deodorants and I am so bummed they are no longer. If you are using an aluminum-free deodorant now and love it, can you please send me a message and let me know which one?

    • Working on: A total revamp of our Bath Soaks. This is such a huge project and I am going to be so glad when it's done.

    • Missing: My college bestie Jes Tan Gan. It was her birthday this month and I wish she lived closer so we could celebrate her.

    • Wearing: My Spiritual Gangster sweats. They are so comfy. Definitely a brand worth checking out during all the Cyber Sales this week. I am going to scoop up these sweats.

    • gingerbread essential oil blend

Drinking: Organic hot apple cider at our "Glow Ghouls" Event and for a week after. I got into having it in a copper mug and it was nice to mix up my morning routine with a caffeine free option.

    • Loving: All the LipLuxe Lip Scrubs by Mizzi. They are just ready to gift with their lil' bows.

The blogs you'll find here are inspired by my interests in beauty + wellness which developed from collecting fashion magazines during my newspaper carrying days in elementary school. I later attended Umass Lowell and graduated from FIDM before working for world renowned estheticians and beauty brands. Today I am an e-commerce marketer and Amazon specialist for 3 wonderful companies on Cape Cod and newly licensed LMT still studying for my esthetician's license. I'm a curious, color-obsessed creative.

First, a quick rewind before we jump into the Holidays or Holidaze. This was one of the most beautiful Falls I can recall on Cape Cod. After a very humid, rainy summer, we had the most crunchy, cool, colorful Autumn. I loved almost every minute of it and am sad to see the thermometer drop. Here's a couple snapshots from a few of my favorite days.

That was SO fun! Our first event at the Falmouth studio could not have gone better. OK, in all fairness, I probably could have done a better job with our non-alcoholic Green Goddess Sparkling Tea Elixir.. but everything else was perfection. Clients, family and friends came to toast the first community event while participating in a mini facial session, BioCharger energy healing, Ionic foot soaks and scrubs hosted by Jackie and a delicious Lobster Roll lunch catered by Cataumet Fish. Jenny did such a wonderful job preparing the food with local, responsibly harvested seafood. Everything was so fresh! I will definitely be stopping into their Falmouth location soon for some Holiday shopping. Check out our lil recap below.

This season's best seller is already our Cape Cod Massage Gift Card. We recently added a $100 increment in addition to all others. Love Cape Saltie? Give the gift of time to friends and family. While kits last, these are finally going to be available online on Small Business Saturday - YAY. 2023 was a year!! The studio opened and I completed 600 hours of advanced esthetics training in pursuit of my estheticians license. I combine this education with past experience working for the fastest growing natural skincare brand in the US to cultivate my own unique approach to skincare. The result? I like results-driven formulas that prioritize high-performance, botanical ingredients without a regimen army. I want no more than 7 bottles daily. In this kit, you're trying 9 new skincare products for an INSANE value. Let's try everything together? This starter kit is a curated mix of Cape Saltie newness and vetted best sellers from the esthetics industry. Make sure you are signed up for email to get the first access alert. They will not last!

This lil' Talenti Raspberry sorbet is the inspiration behind my Holiday wrapping this year. We are doing our signature raspberry velvet bags with raspberry sorbet bows. This dessert had me at Hello. You know I love my frosted glass!!
