Hi Everyone,
I wanted to share an update with you directly. After much thought, I’ve decided to relocate Cape Saltie’s studio from Falmouth to Mid-Cape this winter. (Deep breath—for me.) This change feels like the right long-term fit, especially as I’m officially planting roots here plus this way I can be closer to my office in Harwich. There were also some practical challenges with the current building that made it the right moment to explore what might come next. While I’m confident this move supports the future of Cape Saltie, I also want to acknowledge that transitions can feel bittersweet. I truly understand if clients feel disappointed—I have felt the same. That said, I’m committed to making this a positive and thoughtful evolution.
After a long search, I found a wonderful new studio space in Dennis Port. Interestingly, it’s the very same space I considered four years ago when I was just starting out—so in many ways, this feels like a full-circle moment!!
I’ll continue taking appointments in Falmouth through January 31, with the possibility of extending into early February (I’m currently finalizing details with the landlord). If there’s an opening that works for you before the transition, I’d love to see you. Looking ahead, Cape Saltie Mobile appointments will be available to book online beginning in February for existing Falmouth clients—bringing the at-home experience back, just as Cape Saltie began. Our Dennis Port In-Studio Booking should be available in mid-February for March bookings, providing licensing goes to plan.
This new space just now came together after a long period of uncertainty, and it was important to me that you hear this directly from me first. Thank you for that grace—and for trusting me with your care over the years. I’m truly grateful and very much looking forward to what’s ahead. I'm excited to have room to expand, retail and space for events! I’ve built a really special community here, and for those who enjoy seeing how Cape Saltie's story unfolds, I made a YouTube channel to stay connected and watch the moments along the way. The first few episodes might look like an episode on HGTV.. Still so much to do. Love you!
All my best,
